NPTEL Policy for Students

1)    If the Course matches with the defined curriculum and approved by the subject teacher, the student will be given 5 / 10 marks in theory internal head or the assignment can be waved off as per the decision of the subject the teacher provided that :

• A student enrolls for the NPTEL certification examination,
• 75% attendance is maintained in class and lab attendance and
• submitted all NPTEL assignment prescribed by Faculty In-charge

2)    If the course is an additional NPTEL Course and non-mapping with GUNI-ICT curriculum in such cases, the students are encouraged for taking additional NPTEL courses with the following monetary benefits (for a maximum of one subject in one semester) :

• GOLD + TOPPER: 100% reimbursement of exam fees
• Gold or Topper: 75% reimbursement of exam fees
• SILVER: 50 % reimbursement of exam fees
